Ginger Turmeric Cinnamon Mocktail

Who wants a refreshing and cool mocktail for hot summer nights? Or a warm drink for cool days? I love to try new mocktails. And this recipe is delicious and healthy – full of anti-inflammatory ingredients and antioxidants — ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon. You can even add a little stevia or monk fruit if you need added sweetness. It’s quick and easy to make and stores well in your fridge. And some people like to do it as a small daily drink for immune boosting. Try it today!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 inches fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 2 inches fresh turmeric, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon black peppercorns (optional)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks (you can substitute 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

Boil 2 cups water, ginger, turmeric, black peppercorns, and cinnamon. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Strain and pour into a blender.

Add honey, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, and remaining 2 cups of water. Blend well on medium speed for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Pour into a Mason jar and store in your refrigerator. You can drink it cold or warm it up.

And if you can even freeze in ice cube trays to add to drinks as a flavored cube that won’t dilute your drink!
